Another Shooting

 

As I am sitting here looking over the news. I see a couple of stories that catch my attention. The first being that the laws pertaining to concealed carry in the state of Illinois. The other being that evil has struck again.

First for the bad news. And I am typing this from my prospective. What I am talking about is the headline I see, Mass shooting at Portland Mall. Then under that 3 dead including shooter. Of course anytime there is innocent blood spilled it is a tragedy.

However the question I have is where are your armed citizens? Oh, wait a minute, The mall like many malls across America have a no firearm policy. Another business willing to risk your life and take your money at the same time. I know the security guards will protect us. (insert other smart comments here) News flash; they don't have the means to protect you either.

Now, we all know it is just a matter of time before the anti-gun folks take this tragedy and start with the gun ban / gun control agenda. In fact I am sure that Mayors against Illegal Guns already is working on the press release as I am typing this.

I will update my posts as more information comes in. As for now Lets remember the victims not the guns.

The good news. The supreme court Has over turned the Illinois gun ban. The courts have also ordered the state to rewrite the laws to include 2nd Amendment friendly laws for concealed carry. There is a big score for gun owners in Illinois.
