Police stake out hospitals to catch suspects -- Right here in Brevard


Two men have been caught after shots were fired during a home invasion in Brevard County. Melbourne Police said as soon as the suspects barged into the home the homeowner opened fire, injuring one of the suspects.
It happened early Thursday morning on Pepper Avenue in Melbourne.
Police said men armed with guns barged into a house and the homeowner opened fire on them, hitting one of the suspects in the arm and the leg. Officers said the armed men didn't even have time to return fire.
