Though Memorial Day weekend shootings were down from last year, gun violence marred the long weekend in several Chicago neighborhoods, leaving six dead and nearly two dozen injured since Friday. A 15-year-old girl shot sitting on her boyfriend's porch in the city's West Pullman neighborhood was the among the most recent shooting injuries. The teen was shot in the shoulder about 5:20 p.m. near 117th Street and Wentworth Avenue. She was later taken to the hospital in good condition. READ MORE
