ORLANDO, March 18 – Students were evacuated from a student housing building and classes were cancelled at the University of Central Florida this morning after an apparent mass shooting attempt.
James Seevakumaran died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound just after midnight in what appeared to be a failed attack on the Main Campus of UCF. After a firealarm went off at 12:20AM, Seevakumaran threatened his roommate with a firearm. The roommate then proceeded to barricade himself in his room and dial 911, alerting police who were responding to the alarm. READ MORE
